The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:•    Ability to collaborate effectively with both creative and management teams.
•    Must be able communicate well, understand and process a revisions workflow, and track projects to completion.
•    Experience working under tight deadlines in a production environment, and bringing strong attention to detail.
Applicants with no previous experience modifying WordPress installations need not apply. This includes a thorough

knowledge of shortcode creation, function modification, jQuery, PHP and modern CSS3/HTML5 standards.

Development:

Web Developers will use the latest web development standards and solid hands-on technical skills to create sites that

function properly across a variety of browsers and platforms. Attention to Quality Control (QC) to ensure flawless

execution.

•    Write standards-compliant code including testing/debugging in multiple browsers and platforms
•    Work with Designers to translate visual concepts into functional and responsive websites, microsites, HTML

emails, and interactive ads
•    Ability to take Adobe PSDs and bring them to life as a unified, functional experience on web and mobile

platforms
•    Experience coding and managing custom MySQL databases and queries
•    Expert knowledge of HTML, HTML5, PHP, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery, as well as working in the WordPress CMS

coding environment
•    Proficiency at working in the WordPress environment with plug-in use and modification, as well as fitting it

into the Bootstrap grid model
•    Knowledge of creating custom shortcodes, widget areas and custom post types within the WordPress environment

to give end users full control over their content
•    Experience integrating APIs into custom websites
•    Knowledge of Linux-based server environments. Administrating Plesk-based servers an asset
•    Knowledge in desk-side support an asset
•    Comfortable training clients in the usage of CMS platforms via online screenshare
